FAQs
Having the answers is important when you're making an investment in yourself. Here are some common questions we've been asked about coaching and the services I provide. This just covers the basics. If you have questions after reading through the FAQs, please contact us or schedule a discovery call.

What can coaching help me with?
Coaching can help you achieve your personal and professional goals, whatever they may be. We know that sounds really broad, but it's your life and your goals. A coach can help you set those goals, help you determine how to reach them in a realistic way, and keep you accountable. Coaching can also help you identify your values, set boundaries, and learn new skills. Some examples of things coaching can address include starting a career or a career change, mindset shifts, stress and time management skills, job finding/resume skills,.
How do I know it will "work?"
The short answer is there are no guaranteed outcomes or results. The not so short answer is you get out of it what you put in. If you're willing to put in the work, you will most likely see a benefit. It won't always be easy, but it will be worth it.
How is coaching different than therapy/counseling?
Coaching and consulting is not the same as therapy or counseling. Therapy and counseling address specific mental health disorders and diagnoses. Therapy and counseling are considered clinical services.
Coaching and consulting focuses on the present and future goals. Coaching offers support and accountability for personal and professional growth. Coaching and consulting does not diagnose or treat any mental health conditions or disorders.
If you are needing treatment for a mental health condition please seek the services of a licensed mental health provider.
